Match Schedule confirmed for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023

Melbourne Rectangular Stadium has been confirmed as the host of six matches for the ninth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand in 2023.

The 64-match tournament will feature 32 teams for the first time and will be played in nine Host Cities and ten stadiums across the two nations.

Melbourne Rectangular Stadium will host four group-stage fixtures and two matches during the round-of-16.

In great news for Melbourne sports fans, the Matildas will play one of their group stage matches at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.

The quarter and semi-finals will be split across venues in Australia and New Zealand, with Stadium Australia in Sydney confirmed as the host of the Final.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 will be held from 20 July – 20 August 2023.
