AAMI Park set to dazzle ahead of FIFA Women’s World Cup™

Fans and players are in for a treat at AAMI Park, with a suite of upgrades completed at the venue ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™.

With the support of a $25 million investment from the Victoria Government, AAMI Park has unveiled a range of improvements across player, fan, media and corporate facilities, ensuring a world-class experience for everyone at the venue.

New curved videoboards will ensure fans can keep across the action from all corners of the stadium, while new state-of-the-art LED sports lights enable bigger and better light sequences during matches.

A significant reconfiguration of the media, broadcast and corporate facilities provides better access for media and enhanced opportunities for VIP entertaining, while back-of-house improvements offer improved amenities for players.

While delivered for the FIFA Women’s World Cup™, the venue’s tenant clubs and fans will reap the benefits of the upgrades long into the future, ensuring AAMI Park remains Melbourne’s premier venue for rectangular sports.

The hype is building for the tournament, with just one week to go until the first match in Melbourne on Friday 21 July. Sold-out crowds are expected at all six Melbourne matches, with the Matildas’ final group match on Monday 31 July slated to be a highlight.
