Melbourne Storm has had the special honour of being Victoria’s only professional rugby league team since 1998 and is one of the most successful teams in the NRL.
The Storm has a long-standing relationship with Melbourne & Olympic Parks, having called AAMI Park home since it opened in 2010, and having previously played home games at the old Olympic Park.
Retired Storm legends Billy Slater and 12-year captain Cameron Smith are immortalised in bronze at AAMI Park, Slater having scored 190 tries during his career, and Smith holding the record for the most NRL games played (430).
Each year the Storm host several sell-out games, most notably their annual ANZAC Day match against the New Zealand Warriors.
