6:30 pm

Venue

AAMI Park

Go behind the scenes in style – with a glass of Australia’s Wine of the Year in hand – at AAMI Park’s Melbourne Lounge.

Enter the inner sanctum of AAMI Park, the Melbourne Lounge, which will be transformed for one night only into a showcase of Victorian winemaking and gastronomy as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.

Curated by Halliday Wine Companion, the evening features a hand-picked selection of 96+ point wines, including the rare chance to taste the sold-out Australian Wine of the Year – Thistledown This Charming Man Single Vineyard Clarendon Grenache 2024. A special guest from Australia’s wine community will guide the experience, sharing stories and perspectives behind the wines.

Each pour will be matched to a five-course menu by Jesse Hughes (ALMA, Felix), with canapes served on the field of play to kick the evening off in style.

    Wine Festival

Founded in 1993, the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has grown from a modest offering of 12 events to an internationally recognised program of more than 400 events across the breadth of Melbourne, as well as satellite events around the state of Victoria. These events run from epic spectacles playing host to guests by the tens of thousands through to hands-on or bespoke engagements and activations on a more intimate scale.
